about

First, I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome you to my practice. If you've landed on this page, you might be wondering about who I am and how I can help you.

For starters, my education includes an undergraduate degree from the University of Windsor in Psychology and Sociology, a diploma in Behavioural Science Technology from George Brown College in Toronto, and a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

I'm a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and I specialize in individual psychotherapy treatment for adults. I've worked and volunteered in crisis response roles in the community; forensic psychiatric treatment settings; day programs and community-based settings for autistic adults and individuals with traumatic or acquired brain injuries; and in a private practice setting focused broadly on assessing and treating mental health disorders such as obsessive-compulsive disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, major depressive disorder, and more. I would primarily consider myself to be a trauma-oriented therapist who specializes in EMDR therapy.

I plan to work together with you to develop an understanding of where you are right now and where you would like to be. I like to consider myself to be a personable, approachable and patient person, and I will leverage these qualities to not only develop a therapeutic relationship with you, but also to help you build and maintain the life that you want for yourself.

Contact me today and we can discuss your concerns and goals for therapy. I look forward to hearing from you and having the opportunity to join you on your journey to thriving and wellness.
